As part of the ongoing resurfacing works at the Naturaliste Community Centre (NCC), please be advised that:
- The entire NCC carpark and access road will be CLOSED from Monday 15 December to Wednesday 17 December.
- The Centre will remain OPEN during this time.
- The carpark will re-open to the public on Thursday 18 December
Alternative Parking
During the full carpark closure period:
- Please use the carparks adjacent to the two ovals next to the NCC (see map).
- These are a short 2–5 minute walk across the ovals to the centre.
- Walking and cycling are encouraged where possible.
Why is this happening?
This upgrade is essential to address tree root intrusion that has damaged the carpark surface, ensuring a safer and more durable area for all users.
To ensure the long-term integrity of the carpark, three trees have been removed. As part of the project, new trees will be planted around the facility to maintain a green and welcoming environment.
