Art Courses

Art courses are now on offer for both kids and adults. Current courses are listed below.

Term 1 enrolments are now open with limited spaces.

After School Art Programs

Why limit yourself to drawing within the lines when you can create a masterpiece instead? Our after-school art programs offer children more than just the ability to perfect their brushstrokes; they provide a chance for young artists to unleash their creativity, gain self-confidence, develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills and learn about the history of art.

In a safe and supportive environment, children can experiment with different techniques and materials, build their social skills, and create colourful memories. The programs are led by qualified and experienced educators, and offer a range of opportunities to explore artistic imagination.

The course typically covers various art forms, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. In the first few weeks of the course, students will learn basic techniques and principles of art, such as colour theory, composition, and perspective.

As the course progresses, students will begin to explore more advanced techniques and develop their own personal style. The course will also provide opportunities for students to experiment with different materials and mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal, and clay.

In addition to practical skills, the course will also focus on art history and theory, providing students with a deeper understanding of the art world and its many traditions.

By the end of the 8-week course, students will have completed a number of art projects and developed a portfolio of their work. They will also have gained a greater appreciation for the creative process and the role of art in society.
