KIDSPORT
KidSport encourages parents with eligible Western Australian children aged 5-18 years to participate in community sport and recreation activities by offering them financial assistance of up to $500 per child each year, towards club fees (this does not cover uniform or equipment).
Parents can check their eligibility and register online via the The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport. You will be required to submit an online KidSport application form and provide a copy of your valid Health Care or Pensioner Concession card.
KIDSPORT CLUBS
Clubs will need to be registered with the City of Busselton before completed vouchers can be sent to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for payment.
KIDSPORT REGIONAL POOLS PROGRAM 2026
The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport has teamed up with the City of Busselton to launch the State Government KidSport Regional Pools Program at the Geographe Leisure Centre. This initiative aims to boost physical activity and water safety awareness for children aged 5 to 18. Eligible participants will receive a 3-month swim membership to the Geographe Leisure Centre, allowing children unlimited pool only entry for 3 months. Applying for KidSport Regional Pools Program subsidy is separate from applying for a KidSport voucher.

Application Process
- Check your child is eligible
- Complete the application form and attach a copy of your concession card
- Submit the form to: glclts@busselton.wa.gov.au Once assessed and approved, you will be contacted by the Geographe Leisure Centre with information regarding your pool membership
- Application may also be submitted in person at the Geographe Leisure Centre
Applications are currently open and will close on 19th April 2026.
