Learn to Swim Instructors

The GLC often recruit for qualified, fun and motivated Learn to Swim Instructors to deliver lessons to children.  Especially over the school holiday periods.

The Geographe Leisure Centre's Learn to Swim School believe that learning to swim and survive in all aquatic environments is an important and necessary life skill for all ages.

Being employed within the GLC is a rewarding way to be part of a team that makes this happen for our community.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have a passion for helping children learn;
  • Use a positive attitude to foster relationships with children and their parents;
  • Look for simplicity and offer solutions;
  • Be reliable; and
  • Have flexibility to work a range of mornings and/or afternoon within the Swim schools operating hours. Shifts: 9.00am – 12pm and 3:30pm – 6.00pm
